Escape 78 Inch Home Bar w/ Stone Top by AS on September 2, 2024This was a highly anticipated purchase for our home bar setup. We knew the freight shipping from manufacturer would take a while (took 1.5 months for deliver to VA). Our major disappointment has been due to the lack of thought behind designing the bar. Don’t get me wrong, it looks great! But who in their right mind uses a porous stone for a bar?! Literally water rings form on it from glasses! My husband spent 3.5 hrs using a stone sealer to make the top more protective, and yet we are scared to use it for anything other than show. This was bought to be used as the main bar and hangout spot in our house. Also, we own maybe 25 different types of stemware glasses and only 1 type fits in the holders because they are too narrow (see pic). For a bar that’s worth more than $2000, these things are a huge disappointment. For a little bit more money, we could’ve gotten a fully custom built bar with quartz stone top. We are already trying to figure out how to get the stone changed on it - because it’s not compatible with daily cocktail making/hanging out. If Parker house is seeing these reviews - please change the stone type or at least seal it with a durable sealer/provide a sealer so people can use your products.

The bar and pub chairs fit perfectly in our space! They complement the TV stand we bought and add warmth to the room. The construction is solid, and there's ample drawer and cabinet storage.

Great set of bookshelves. We had pressboard shelves previously and it sagged under the weight of our books. This is nothing comparable to what we had, outstanding quality, worth every penny spent. Definitely recommend getting assembly service (huge bookcases with huge boxes, cannot even imagine putting it together myself). The wall completely changed our living room, it now looks elegant and luxurious.

Furniture Cart delivered the product in line with my highest expectations. Packaging and shipping was great and communication was solid. They even went above and beyond to remedy a problem with the freight delivery company that wasn't their fault at all. It seems like a lot of online furniture sellers are questionable these days but I highly, highly recommend Furniture Cart!
